He approaches his counselling and psychotherapy work from a person-centred perspective. He aims to work collaboratively with each client and adapt his therapeutic style to suit the needs and preferences of each individual. Gordon strives to empower individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace, and is guided by each person's unique experience.
Gordon's background and experience
Gordon has over 20 years' experience working across the NHS and the charity sector, supporting people through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, neurological conditions, and life-limiting illnesses. He has also worked extensively within employee assistance programmes, helping people navigate workplace-related challenges.
Gordon holds both a Postgraduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and a Certificate in Counselling Skills from the University of Aberdeen. Additionally, he holds a Graduate Certificate in Pluralistic Counselling from Abertay University.
Gordon is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

Gordon's fee
