Works as Psychology Services Team Member at First Psychology Centre, Aberdeen.
He is passionate about promoting both mental and physical wellbeing, with experience in a wide variety of customer service and administration roles. He has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen, and an MSc in Performance Psychology from the University of Edinburgh.
Ben’s MSc dissertation was focused upon wellbeing in the workplace and employee wellbeing, specifically in the domain of emotional labour. He carried out research looking into the effects of emotional labour on employee wellbeing, with the aim of informing future solutions to alleviate any detrimental effects and enhancing wellbeing in the workplace.
Ben’s future plans involve further research and consultation in the domain of emotional labour, and offering services and solutions to organisations and individuals with the goal of promoting both wellbeing and performance.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys going to the gym, hiking, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
